The Rancho Bernardo Inn is one of my favorite places to DJ an event. This wedding was in the smallest room with about 65 people. It was actually one of the best dancing crowds I have had. It is so funny how each crowd is different. Sometimes you worry about the smaller groups not being able to build up enough momentum or energy. Not the case with this wedding...
I am not sure how this happens but I am always out at Mt. Woodson Castle and Golf Club every year on the hottest day of the entire year. It was close to 100 degrees. I was supprised that guests still danced and enjoyed the evening despite the temperature! This wedding was a referral from one of my past wedding couples.
April's N.A.C.E. (National Association of Catering Executives) meeting was The Annual IRON FLORIST Competition held at the House Of Blues. A fun yearly event where 4-5 florists compete to arrange a beautiful centerpiece in under 10 minutes... with a "last minute surprise element"!
A classy masquerade ball themed wedding with an amazing crowd at the Westgate Hotel downtown. Highlights included the masks that were given to each guest, the unique cake, as well as, the cake being cut with a sword. The uplighting really added to the room and their monogram projected on the dance floor added a personal touch.
