I have DJ'd this party to honor the docents of the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum for the past four years. It is always a refreshing event for me because it is a complete change of pace from the normal weddings and music. The average age at this party is about 75 years old. Most of the music is from the 1940's and I really don't play much music beyond the 1950's. It really gets me thinking and expanding my knowledge of the music from that era. It is hilarious... every single year they walk in looking at me like I am "the DJ" that is going to play LOUD HIP-HOP ALL NIGHT and they leave surprised that I am so familiar with "their style of music" thanking me over and over again. It is a great feeling. They always have a fun creative cake each year.
